ROS Group has collaborated in the edition of the book 'Sant Aniol d'Aguja: Valls, cims i gent del Pirineu d'entre el Vallespir i la Garrotxa' [Sant Aniol d'Aguja: Valleys, peaks and people of the Pyrenees between Vallespir and La Garrotxa]. In this book, Ernest Costa reviews the history of the Sant Aniol d'Aguja refuge and its relationship with the territory that surrounds it, accompanying the text with more than 400 photographs.
About a year ago we collaborated with the restoration of the old rectory of Sant Aniol d'Aguja, to turn it into a shelter for hikers. We provided, free of charge, double-walled pipes to conduct the fumes from the shelter's kitchen. The main concern of those responsible for the restoration was the safety of the chimney system. There is a lot of wood inside the shelter, and it was necessary that the pipe did not emanate heat to minimize the risk of fire. It is for this reason that our technical department at ROS Chimneys recommended the installation of double wall ducts, with rock wool insulation.
