ROS Group has collaborated, together with other companies and the Amics de Sant Aniol d'Aguja association, in the restoration of the old rectory of Sant Aniol d'Aguja (Girona, Spain), to convert it into a shelter for hikers.
Our group provided, free of charge, double wall pipes to conduct the fumes of the kitchen. The main concern of those responsible for the restoration was the safety of the chimney system. There is a lot of wood inside the shelter, and it was necessary that the pipe did not emanate heat to minimize the risk of fire. It is for this reason that our technical department at ROS Chimneys recommended the installation of double wall ducts, with rock wool insulation.
At ROS Group we are very happy to have collaborated with the Amics de Sant Aniol d'Aguja association, in its objective is to preserve heritage.
